As a Sociology Expert, you will play a crucial role in enhancing AI model performance through the development and evaluation of technical tasks focused on sociology-related problems. This position involves creating original problem sets based on demographic data, social network diagrams, and survey results, as well as writing reference solutions and conducting structured quality checks.

• Author, review, and annotate technical tasks for evaluating AI model performance in sociology.
• Produce original problem sets grounded in demographic charts, social network diagrams, and survey outputs.
• Write clear reference solutions for the developed tasks.
• Apply structured quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of tasks.

• PhD in Sociology, or MA in Sociology with 3+ years of research, policy, or teaching experience, or BA in Sociology with 5+ years of applied research, policy, or teaching experience.
• Working fluency in at least two of the following areas: social theory, stratification, demography, qualitative methods, quantitative methods.
• Ability to read and interpret demographic charts, social network diagrams, and survey outputs.
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.

This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The role is fully remote and compensated on an hourly basis.

The starting rate for this position is $60 per hour, with opportunities for promotion based on task quality and throughput.
