The responsibilities are:
- Reviews Work Order, PO, procedures and specifications assigned to him/her by management
- Facilitates what equipment is needed for assigned inspection job
- Generates a JSEA prior to the start of each job
- Standardize the NDT equipment per assigned procedure.
- Verifies all inspection equipment is up to date and visually inspects equipment to assure it is in good working order.
- Set's up Ropes securely per our Rope Access procedures and under the Supervision of our Rope Level 3
- Ensures proper traceability of material/ products to be inspected
- Carries out soft craft work such as stripping insulation and coatings, applying new insulation / coatings for CUI remediation per assigned procedure and specification.
- Assists NDT Technician
- Cleans material and work area to an orderly fashion
- Takes frequent inventory of NDE and Soft craft kits and company vehicle and lets supervisor aware of upcoming equipment/ material needs.
- Cleans and maintains company vehicle if one is assigned
Education/ Certification/ Training/ Experience Requirements Must hold a Rope Access SPRAT Certification as a Level 2.
3 years' experience with insulation and coatings.
