Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge in insurance processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements within the P&C Insurance domain
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including underwriters, claims teams, and IT teams
  • Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, and user stories
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthrough sessions
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements
  • Support system implementations, integrations, and enhancements
  • Assist QA teams with test case creation, UAT coordination, and validation
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and standards
  • Act as liaison between business users and technical teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance (P&C)
  • Experience with policy administration, claims, underwriting, or billing systems
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques and documentation
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards in the Florida insurance market
  • Prior experience working with distributed teams

Education Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
