Job description:
AKC Therapy Services is an Indiana Medicaid Waiver provider specializing in Behavior Management services. Our team of master’s-level Behavior Consultants (BCs) delivers support to individuals who may experience challenges accessing and actively participating in their communities due to behavioral, social, or emotional needs.
Behavior Consultants are committed to empowering individuals and their families by leveraging their strengths and unique abilities. The goal of services is to promote self-determination, interdependence, productivity, and full integration and inclusion across all aspects of community life, in every environment, and throughout the lifespan.
BCs provide both direct and indirect support to individuals, as well as to their families, caregivers, and support staff. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized behavior support plans designed to help individuals achieve their behavioral goals. Consultants are expected to provide ongoing services and collaborate consistently with each individual’s support team.

This is an independent contractor position. Individuals will receive a 1099 form for tax reporting purposes and will not be classified as employees.
