About the Position  We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with a proven track record in construction to join our team. In this role, you’ll travel to various job sites across the Southeast, focusing on creating environments that meet the unique needs of the healthcare industry. While the position involves travel during the week, you’ll typically be home on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall, finishing, and cabinetry.
• Interpret blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and molding.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to exact specifications.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or fixtures as needed.
• Lead and direct laborers and construction helpers.
• Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Travel: Ability to travel extensively (100%) during the week. Most trips run from Monday morning through Thursday or Friday.
• Must live within 1 hour of Gastonia, NC.
• Proven carpentry experience with expertise in healthcare construction or medical imaging facilities preferred.
• Proficiency in using both power tools and manual tools such as saws, hammers, and rulers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
