 Job Site: Kaukauna, WI 

Position Overview

We are hiring Commercial Carpenters / Steel Erectors for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role focuses on rough framing and structural work on commercial construction projects.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
•  Hours: Typically 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
•  Overtime: YES (45–50 hours per week)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform rough framing and structural carpentry
• Assist with steel erection and installation
• Follow blueprints and project specifications
• Work safely and efficiently on commercial job sites
• Collaborate with crews and supervisors to meet deadlines

Travel Requirements

• Daily travel within Appleton and surrounding areas
• Projects may include Milwaukee, Madison, and Wausau regions
• Commutes up to 1 hour expected
• Hotel + per diem provided for extended travel

Duration & Hiring

• Start Date: April 13
• Duration: 6 Months (Contract-to-Hire)

Requirements

• Experience in commercial carpentry or steel erection
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass:
  • 5-panel instant drug screen
  • Background screening (soft check)

Additional Info

• PPE & tools: May be required (confirm upon onboarding)
• Opportunity to go full-time after 6 months
