Responsibilities * Build strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process * Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle by understanding their needs and budget * Demonstrate vehicles and accompany customers on test drives * Deliver vehicles and review features, paperwork, and warranty information * Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and previous customers * Stay informed on incoming inventory, product knowledge, and dealership promotions * Work closely with management and other departments to ensure an excellent customer experience * Attend dealership and manufacturer training programs and sales meetings * Maintain professional communication and appearance at all times * Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills * Automotive sales experience is NOT required * Sales or customer service experience is preferred, but not necessary * Positive attitude with strong communication and people skills * Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Professional appearance and strong work ethic * Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record * Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Candidates from customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, restaurants, insurance, and other relationship-focused industries often excel in automotive sales.
